Restaurant Financial Services, LLC is a Maryland based bookkeeping company with over 35 years of combined restaurant industry experience. We pride ourselves in offering a personalized, unique service to each one of our clients. With our hands-on experience within the food service industry, Restaurant Financial Service is able to offer an insight that not many other companies can offer. We are here to help make the day to day operations of the restaurant work smoothly and efficiently by ensure an accurate set of financial records including a day to day trial balance, if requested. This also allows your time to be focused on running the restaurant, not worrying about the books.


Both of our principals have worked in different aspects of the restaurant industry. Jason Righter, a CPA, worked his way up from prep cook to management to controller of a $XX million 7 unit restaurant chain. Paul Fields, the other principal of Restaurant Financial Services, has owned his own restaurant consulting company for over 15 years. He has extensive experience as a commercial mortgage broker and he has a very thorough knowledge of the financial requirements and operations of restaurants having also been a CFO of a $20 million a year 4-unit restaurant chain.

Jason Righter, CPA
Jason Righter is a principal in Restaurant Financial Services, LLC and Restaurant Development Services, Inc. Additionally, his current consulting contracts include controller functions of Austin Grills, Inc. based in Gaithersburg, MD. Jason has more than 10 years combined operational and accounting experience within the restaurant industry.
Jason holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Salisbury State University and an Associates of Arts degree in Business Administration from Montgomery College. He is also a licensed CPA and a graduate from the US Army Primary Leadership Development Course.
Paul Fields, M.S.
Paul Fields is a principal of Restaurant Financial Services, LLC and Restaurant Development Services, Inc. He has more than 25 years of experience in finance, real estate and restaurant transactions.
Paul received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Ithaca College, Ithaca, New York. After spending one year in the aviation industry, he was accepted to the graduate program in Real Estate and Urban Development at The American University from where he received a Master of Science degree.

Security of information transfer? Encryption?
Definitely not. Restaurant Financial Services will enter all of the invoices and A/P and provide a list of bills that are due on a weekly basis. You will then instruct us as to which bills to pay. We will not issue a check without your consent. We help to increase the control over cash management through timely and accurate financial reports.
We also do not sign the checks. Once the invoices are entered into our system, and the decision is made as to which invoices to pay, we issue the checks and send them back to you. The authorized signatory will then sign the checks and mail them out.
We take your confidentiality very seriously. Our team of professionals at Restaurant Financial Services will have access to your financial information on an as needed basis. No one outside of your company will be given any information without your explicit instructions.
Not a problem. You will still have one-write checks at your disposal. When you send us the weekly packet, you simply include the copy of the one-write with the relevant invoice/bill and we enter it into the A/P system when we receive it.
